Restaurants in Arizona

Arizona Restaurants' Dining Offers Travelers and Residents Tastes from Around the World

Although there are many restaurants in Arizona known for their great Southwestern and Mexican food, do a little exploring and you'll also find a wide variety of cuisines from around the world.

Arizona might not jump first to mind as a restaurant destination. After all, cities like New York, San Francisco, and Los Angeles get all of the food press.

However, in our experience, Phoenix, Scottsdale, and Tucson can all boast great restaurants to rival those found in the "foodie" cities.

Gone are the days when most Arizona restaurants focused only on steaks, potatoes, tacos, and burritos.

Today, Arizona restaurant dining is actually quite diverse.

You can eat just about any kind of food from around the world, from Japanese to Italian, vegetarian to gluten-free, tea rooms to microbreweries.

Whether you're looking for a 4-star gourmet Arizona restaurant or an outdoor chuck wagon supper, you won't have any trouble finding an Arizona restaurant to suit your mood and taste.

If you're any Arizona vacationer, you could just eat at your resort or hotel, but you'd be missing out on some great food. We recommend getting out and discover some of the interesting and unique restaurants in Arizona.

Below are some of our favorite picks from cities and towns around the state.

Glendale's most diverse dining options are in the newest part of town and the oldest: Westgate City Center and Downtown Glendale. There's tea shops, pizza parlors, and even an outpost of “Margaritaville."
