There Isn't a Bad Seat in the House at Glendale Arena

From our hotel room at the Glendale Renaissance Hotel, we peered out the window to see Jobing com Arena Glendale, officially known as Jobing.com Arena.

We were looking at more than just another big building.

From Phoenix Coyote hockey games and ice skating shows to rodeos, concerts and conventions, Jobing com Arena has hosted it all.

It’s also the place to see some of the most popular entertainers of today including Coldplay, Britney Spears, Bruce Springsteen, Hannah Montana and André Rieu.

Located in western Glendale, Jobing com Arena was originally known as Glendale Arena when it first opened at the end of 2003 as it’s owned by the city of Glendale.

Jobing Com Arena Glendale is huge event center

In 2006 Jobing.com, an internet job listing service, signed a 10 year, $25 million naming rights deal to change the name.

Although it’s not near downtown Phoenix, Jobing com Arena is no longer by itself in Glendale’s former farm fields.

Right next door on the Glendale Arena’s south end is Westgate City Center.

This 223 acre, $1 billion development has shops, a movie theater and restaurants including Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville.

This expanding area makes it a great place to take in a concert or hockey game and then go grab a bite to eat.

From September to April, Jobing com Arena Glendale is home to the National Hockey League's Phoenix Coyotes.

If you're a fan, you don't have to wait for a game to go shopping, however.

The Official Store of the Phoenix Coyotes hockey team, The Coyotes Den, is open year round.

Jobing com Arena Glendale is next to the Arizona Cardinals Stadium and the Renaissance Glendale Hotel

The store is located east of Gate 3 in the northeast corner of Glendale Arena.

The Coyotes Den is open Tuesday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and during Phoenix Coyote home games. The store hours are subject to change on event days.

Jobing.com Arena Glendale Seating

One of the good things about Jobing com Arena Glendale is the great seating.

The slope of the two seating levels provides excellent views for everyone. Both levels have their own concourse.

In between these two levels are two decks of private, reserved luxury suites which have state-of-the-art video and audio, extra wide, theater-style leather seats, wet bar, VIP parking and catered food and beverage service.

Hockey fans have about 17,779 seats to choose from for a Phoenix Coyotes hockey game.

Other Glendale Arena seating options are:

• 87 luxury suites total,
• 12 Luxury Party Suites that can accommodate up to 50 people each,
• the Comerica Bank Club, with 400 seats, offers special dining and club service on the Club Suites Level
• the Toyota Club, which provides special dining and club service exclusively to Phoenix Coyotes Row A & B ticket holders in sections 101-105 and 118-122.

There are also a number of carts selling everything from Guiness Beer and tequila to gelato and doughnuts.

Location:   Southwestern Glendale. Jobing com Arena is at the south end of Westgate City Center, a short distance from the Loop 101 Freeway.

Directions:   Finding Jobing com Arena is easy. From the Loop-101 Freeway take the W. Glendale Avenue Exit. Travel east and turn south at either W. 95th Avenue or W. 93rd Avenue. Both avenues go to the parking lots for Jobing.com Arena.

The Box Office and The Toyota Pickup Window Will Call are at Gate 5 at the northeast corner of the Arena.

Parking:   Jobing com Arena parking is free at Westgate City Center. There are 7 parking lots: A,B, K, J, G, E and X. Lot G is located on the east side of Jobing.com Arena. Lot E is the valet lot. Lots A and B are on the west side of Westgate City Center. Lots K and J are on the east side of Westgate City Center. The largest parking lot is Lot X located in-between the Loop 101 Freeway, Glendale Avenue, 95th Avenue and Hampton Inn Suites.
