If you're traveling to southern Arizona to visit popular Old West towns such as Tucson, Tombstone or Bisbee, you can take a flight to Tucson. So you would need to land at Phoenix Sky Harbor and then board a smaller plane to towns such as Flagstaff, Yuma, Sedona and Prescott or to the Grand Canyon. Or you could charter a flight from Phoenix to your final destination. Do you have your own plane? If so, there are several smaller Arizona airports where you can land your own private plane. A few are scattered around the greater Phoenix metropolitan area in Scottsdale, Deer Valley, Goodyear and Mesa.
