Hi,

We're Jeff and Paula Hartgraves. Thank you for visiting our web site.

We created Arizona-Vacation-Planner.com to share our Arizona vacation and travel experiences and advice. We hope that you find our web site useful, informative, and entertaining.

So who are we? Just a happy couple with a love of travel and exploring new places.

We've been together for over 30 years, and for much of that time, we've been traveling or living in Arizona.

My background is in zoology and botany. I have worked as a field research assistant on several wildlife projects, at several Arizona cactus nurseries, and as a hiking guide at a major Tucson resort.

My interests include wildlife watching, hiking, gardening, yoga, cooking, and reading, especially mystery novels by Tony Hillerman, Nevada Barr, J.A. Jance, and James Doss.

Jeff was formerly a zookeeper for 10 years, having worked at zoos in California and Arizona. He enjoys digital photography, gardening, hiking, and just about anything I cook.

Like you, we have too much to do and too little time to do it in. With busy jobs and family responsibilities, we often found that we were scrambling to make our vacation plans at the last minute.

After making our room reservation based on some glossy brochure or corporate web site, we couldn't be certain it was what we were really looking for until we got there. Then, after arriving at our destination and with limited time, we weren't sure what was worth taking the time to go see and do.

Now after years spent in Arizona, we have it down pat.

Thinking that others are probably facing the dilemma that we once had, we decided to create Arizona Vacation Planner.

We want to help you cut through the marketing hype and slick web sites to get the real info on vacationing in Arizona.

By providing you with in-depth reviews, travel tips and suggestions on where to stay, where to eat, and what to see, we hope to make your Arizona vacation planning as quick and easy as clicking the mouse.
